Pune is more than just another upcoming city !! From street food culture to cool cafe vibes, Pune has a lot to offer to the locals as well as to the tourists. Puneakars love their food, and you can sense it from the variety of eating joints in Pune. Let me walk you through with the top 4 places to eat in Pune that I personally liked, and I must say the food was yummy.

1. Grandmama’s Cafe

Located in Koregaon Park, Grandmama’s cafe is a must try with friends and family. We visited this place in the afternoon for lunch. It was very well decorated with old furniture. Bright coloured walls, quirky interior and pleasant weather, complimented their outside seating arrangement. Everything we ordered there was lip smacking. You can check out this cafe in the video attached below.

Must Try – Avocado Toast, Vietnamese coffee
Cost For Two – Rs 2000 approx

2. Shabri Restaurant

Doesn’t matter if you have tried the Maharashtrian food before or not, one should definitely visit Shabri restaurant. This minimalistic place offers a gourmet thali, which has an endless variety of curries, chutney, sweets and bread. From Kadhi to Arbi Patta curry to Bajre ki roti and Lahsun ki chutney, everything was so delicious. And guess what, all at Rs 350 per person.

Must Try – Maharashtrian Thali with sweets, Filter Coffee
Cost For Two – 800 approx.

3. World Of Veg

Perhaps one of the most picturesque rooftop vegetarian cafe I have come across in Pune. We went there on a Sunday night, and there was waiting for 15 minutes. It’s located on the 7th floor of the Ramsukh house building. The view from the top was just amazing, and to my surprise, the place was not only occupied by young couples, but there were families of size 20, 10 were also there. Something that you don’t see in Delhi often.

Must Try – Spicy Guava drink and Mac n cheese
Cost For Two -1500 approx.

4. My Froyoland

If you want to be a child again, then this is a perfect spot for you. We both love yoghurt, so we went to this place after lunch. I must say their pricing is very reasonable and variety of flavours are decent. I chose butterscotch which I topped with honey almonds, gems, blueberries.

Must Try – All of them

Cost For two – 500 approx.
