Palm leaves were dancing on the rhythm of fresh air outside my balcony at Marriott, Pune. Far away from the city noise, Marriott suites is located in Koregaon Park. The hotel has a profound feeling of calmness in its every corner. It is quite tough for us to choose a favourite between the hospitality of the warm staff and the deliciousness in every single bite of the food cooked with love and aromatic spices.
It took us 15 minutes to reach the hotel from the airport. Uber and Ola are easily available at the airport. If you are still unsure then just ask the hotel to arrange a cab for you.
The lobby of the hotel is quite small and cosy. And the walls were decorated with bright coloured paintings depicting the rural life of Maharastra. Swimming pool, well-equipped gym, a small play garden for kids, restaurants and a disc – the hotel has got everything that one could expect from a luxury property.
We stayed in one bedroom suite. Every corner of the suite was properly utilised in one way or another. The kitchen was quite spacious and fully equipped with the necessary paraphernalia required for cooking. There was even a separate section dedicated to the washing machine. The living area had a big TV screen and a study desk. The bedroom along with TV, wardrobe had an attached spacious washroom.

Breakfast buffet served at their restaurant Senses had a lot of variety of South Indian, Maharashtrian, North Indian and continental food. Generally, I used to have healthy bowl of fruits with yoghurt & muesli but somedays I paired their special Dosa or chole puri with masala chai.
We also loved their fine dining Italian restaurant called Sorriso, which serves the best fungi pizzas ever. Also, the open seating area in the evening is so romantic. It’s a perfect spot for date night.
Almost every day I did my workout in their gym situated on the top floor in the fifth annexe while Vinay enjoyed long hours of swimming in the pool. The hotel also provides cycle but don’t expect too much. Those cycles were never in working conditions. They also have Sakura spa, which has good reviews online – I didn’t get any treatment so can’t really say much about that.
Find an occasion and gift yourself this getaway. Special thanks to Marriott Suites Pune for such warm hospitality.
